Our tale begins with a challenge familiar to many: lost luggage.

Nicolas Keglevich, the visionary founder of ASSIST CARD (the largest travel assistance network in the world), felt the frustration firsthand when tens of thousands of customers lost their bags while traveling. In a leading organization where real-time assistance thrived, the absence of a solution for lost baggage compelled him to embark on a mission, giving birth to LugLoc, the first real-time tracker for luggage in the world.

LugLoc's development began in 2012, After relentlessly pursuing and developing several technical options, the company patented a unique system that shuts down the tracking device when the aircraft takes off and turns it on automatically after landing. (to avoid any interference with the plane's avionics). 

2015 marked significant milestones for the company as agreements were signed with top-tier luggage brands such as Samsonite and Delsey among others, paving the way for the creation of the first "smart luggage" capable of real-time worldwide tracking. The global press applauded LugLoc's innovation, with CNN hailing it as a "groundbreaking travel accessory," and NBC naming it "the best travel hack." 

In 2015, we proudly received first place in the Product Innovation Award from the TGA Travel Goods Association. From 2015 to 2018, LugLoc's journey provided valuable insights into new tracking technologies, new connectivity, and user interactions, leading to the evolution in 2019 of a completely new device: GEGO.

GEGO emerged from LugLoc's ambition to transcend luggage tracking and delve into universal tracking of vehicles, packages, and more.  

Incorporating several years of operational knowledge and the latest tracking technologies in 2022, we launched GEGO GPS, adding GPS technology that ensured second-to-none global location precision.

Our commitment to assisting travelers comprehensively led us to provide a unique service: the Fast Bag Recovery Guarantee. (When your luggage is misplaced, we'll talk with the airline to get the return done. If your luggage is not returned to you within 96 hours, we will pay you $1,000 per bag)

In our pursuit of excellence, in 2020 we introduced GEGO Tracking Solutions, a division dedicated to resolving tracking requirements of large corporations. 

From critical tracking such as human organs for transplantation to the fast and critical tracking of parts for the leading Formula 1 racing team, LugLoc has designed and developed tailor-made platforms that enhanced the performance, productivity, and security of corporations both in the US and in Europe.
